North Brooklyn Community Development is committed to making a positive impact on the local community and the environment they are a part of. We are dedicated to helping through advocacy, affordable housing initiatives, , community arts and wellness, and through youth programs that help support the families in our neighborhood. Youth Programs
Creative spaces for youth to learn, create, and connect. At North Brooklyn Developments Youth Programs, we provide arts, media, and community-based programming that empowers young people through creativity, collaboration, and real-world experiences. From classrooms and afterschool programs to studio sessions and community events, our youth initiatives are designed to support expression, confidence, leadership, and access for all learners. We work across schools, studios, and neighborhoods throughout North Brooklyn to create welcoming environments where young people can grow creatively and socially while building meaningful connections with their communities.
At NBCD, we believe wellness includes not only physical and emotional well-being, but also creativity, connection, and community. Through arts and wellness programming, we create spaces where people of all ages can express themselves, build relationships, and experience joy. Through our Williamsburg community studio and partnerships across New York City, we bring accessible arts and wellness programming into schools, public spaces, and neighborhoods. We proudly collaborate with the DOT, DOE, DYCD, and community partners to support creative, healthy, and connected communities.

Over the last 30 years we have worked to build relationships with local businesses, create affordable housing in north Brooklyn, fought to bring back green spaces in our neighborhoods, helped create affordable housing, providing senior services and youth programming. Our mission expands by providing arts and wellness throughout Brooklyn and beyond through our community studio, Artful Souls And Wellness located in Williamsburg and our work and partnerships with NBK Park, DOT, and the DOE.
